GEMMA CLASS ACT

We would like to say a BIG thankyou to everyone whom has supported our Thrombosis Charity both here in the UK and Overseas. We have decided to close the fundraising page after raising a grand total of £677 for Lifeblood. This worthwhile Charity has supported not only my family but also others in need of help to come to terms with their illness. We are delighted to announce that our second single "Seasonal Wishes" has just made the semi-finals in the UK Songwriting Contest 2009 in London out of over 6000 entries. We have been so busy this year with our performances whilst raising awareness for Deep Vein Thrombosis. We have so far with the kind donations of the general public purchasing our Charity Single "Our Special Day (From Me To You)" along with raffles and tombolas, raised an astonishing £606 within five months!!! Our story was covered in our local newspaper and can be read on our Photo Gallery page. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us in making this happen and we will continue to raise as much money as we can for Lifeblood - Thrombosis Charity. Thank you so much!!

There is a new song in the making and are preparing to record some more videos.

Our Christmas song "Seasonal Wishes" was written by Alan (my Dad). Our supporters, family and friends inspired him to write this song for the holiday season.

Since the recording in London, the song has not only been played on our local radio stations in Lincolnshire but it has also been played on radio stations abroad. Every comment and message we receive is always appreciated and so long as everyone is enjoying our music that's all that matters to us.

I'd just like to update everyone on our current progress. I've just recently moved house and areas to Lincolnshire, UK and have just received the results of the UK Songwriting Contest 2007. Out of over 5000 entries, "Our Special Day (From Me To You)" (both the full arrangement and the piano/vocal versions) reached the semi-finals in the Jazz/ Blues category.

We are all absolutely thrilled with the result and my dad has many more plans for the song as well as writing more material.

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the help, support, comments and messages that we receive. We really appreciate it.
